Tropical Fish Rescue 10/9/11 |

The rescheduled Tropical fish Rescue is this weekend, October 9, from 9:30am to 4:30PM at Fort Wetherill, Jamestown, RI Divers in recent weeks have seen several Spotfin Butterfly, four-eye butterfly and a couple of cowfish and grouper. It looks like the area has recovered from the hurricane and the tropical fish have stayed off the coast It's a great event for the whole family, we'll be seining, snorkeling and diving, as well as volleyball, music, silent auction, and great food! Mark from Biomes of RI and Faith from DUI will be on site as well as other mfg representatives We will have our tropical fish tank display, a nice BBQ, touch tank, music, volleyball and dive mfg's up on the hill--- Down by the coves we will be seignning, snorkeling and diving for the tropicals--we will have collecting nets available as well as instruction, dive buddies and holding tanks for all tropicals caught. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THE COTTING SCHOOL |
